Solutus launches re brand at CREFC Europe conference 2016

Loan Servicer Solutus has dropped ‘Advisors’ from its name in a major rebranding exercise which includes a new website and corporate literature.  Now styled ‘Solutus’, the company launched its new branding at the CREFC Europe Conference on the 20th April in London.

Also a sponsor and exhibitor at the Conference, Solutus said that it had reached five years of successful and steady growth from a team of three at its creation in 2010 to now 23 staff managing the work of asset and property management companies across UK and Europe.

Founder and MD James Bannister said that the name ‘Solutus’ meant ‘unbound or free’ in Latin and denoted its ability to think independently and to deliver innovative solutions to its clients.

He added: “Our work as Special Servicers on major loans such as Mapeley Beta led to the growth in our primary servicing function for clients on both distressed and performing loans.  We continue to develop new service areas to keep abreast and ahead of an ever changing market both here in the UK and in Europe where we are active particularly in Germany, France and Italy and we have an office in Frankfurt.

“When we began, we had €252M of loans under management and by the end of 2015 we had €2.5Bn loans under management.”

“For us, this point in our history is a good one to update our image and also the market on just how far we have come and what our plans are for the future.”

Solutus will be celebrating its fifth year in style at London icon Tower Bridge and saying ‘thank you’ to over 100 clients and contacts as well as to its staff in May.
